What we collect
When you set up a gift exchange, we store the group name, date, spending limit, and the names and email addresses you enter. People can add wish list items. We also store basic technical data such as the IP address used to create a group, to stop abuse.
How we use it
Only to run your gift exchange: drawing names, showing each person their match and wish lists, and sending the emails the organizer asks us to send. We don't sell your information or send marketing email.
Private links
We don't use passwords. Each person and each organizer gets a private link. Anyone who has a link can open that page, so share each link only with the person it belongs to.
Affiliate links and cookies
PullAName is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you click an Amazon link, Amazon may set cookies to credit us for the visit. We use one session cookie to keep our forms secure. We count clicks on gift links (without any personal details) to see which ideas are useful.
Deleting your data
Organizers can remove people at any time. To delete a whole group, email hello@pullaname.com with the group name and organizer link. We delete old groups after about 18 months.
Children
Organizers may add children's first names to family exchanges. Don't enter a child's email address. PullAName is not directed to children under 13.
